South Korea came from behind to win 2-1 against Portugal in the third Group H match of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup.

With the victory, South Korea recorded one win, one draw and one loss (goal loss 0, four points and four runs). Uruguay won 2-0 against Ghana with one win, one draw and one loss (goal loss 0, two points and two runs). South Korea dramatically finished second in the group ahead of the multiple points and succeeded in advancing to the round of 16.

After the game, Hwang In-beom said, "Weirdly, I'm not tired at all right now. The feeling of happiness is so great that it is not hard. Still, the team's atmosphere is so good that I will play a game that I don't regret no matter which team I play against," he said with a smile.

Regarding Hwang Hee-chan's winning goal scene, Hwang In-beom said, "I wanted to run, but it was far away. I think it's a great goal. (Son) Heung-min said, "I think (Hwang) Hee-chan responded to the pass after a great dribble."

After the match between Korea and Portugal, the players gathered together to watch the match while waiting for the match between Uruguay and Ghana to end.

Hwang In-beom said, "If we face Brazil, the friendly match in June was a great help. I think the game is the turning point of my life. I think I'll be able to do well enough if I get back together," he said.
